Reiki Healing

Reiki Healing clears energy blockages, encouraging this life-giving energy to flow freely; working on the body, mind, and spirit to stimulate the body’s own natural healing abilities.

Reiki means ``universal life forces`` - the foundation of everything within and around us.

Reiki treatments are simple, natural and safe.

Reiki treatments do not involve physical manipulation, instead working with the subtle vibrational field surrounding and penetrating the body.

Feelings of peace, centeredness and more ease with challenges; just a few of the benefits of receiving Reiki energy.

Some of my clients feel sensations of heat, tingling, or experience seeing colours and others have an emotional response. All share feelings of lightness or letting go.

Sound Healing

Sound Healing helps in shifting our brainwave state to to alpha, deta and thea states – where deep internal healing occurs.

Sound healing helps the body to relax deeply and allows the mind to release its fixation on stressful thoughts.

I use instruments, including my own voice, to “tone and sound” your body, with the intention of bringing it back into resonance with a state of harmony and health.

I practice Sound Healing using: Quartz crystal singing bowls, Tibetan singing bowls, drums and tuning forks.

After a treatment I often hear: ``...feeling a sense of peace and calm``. While some clients describe the release of blockages and the lessening of physical symptoms.

No two people experience the same: some report expansive, consciousness-altering experiences, some cry and some fall asleep.

Meditation

Meditation is a means of transforming the mind by focusing awareness onto a single entity, such as the breath.

By engaging with a particular meditation practice you learn the patterns and habits of your mind, and the practice offers a means to cultivate new, more positive ways of being

It describes a state of consciousness, when the mind is free of scattered thoughts and various patterns . The observer (one who is doing meditation) realizes that all the activity of the mind is reduced to one.

Almost anything can become a mediation and there are countless techniques I'll share to make meditation more relevant in your day-to-day life.

Physical benefits include: improved immune system, lowered blood pressure, increased serotonin production and increased energy.

Mental Health benefits include: decreased anxiety, emotional stability, clarity and peace of mind, developed intuition and increased creativity.

Meditation Enhances Your life

I didn’t take meditation seriously until I stumbled upon it by accident. I was in a yoga class, flowing with the teacher’s instructions, but I was feeling more than thinking. My focus was concentrated on my deep and steady breath. Without being aware of it, the people in the room fell away and soon the room itself disappeared. The only thing that I could comprehend was that moment – inhale and exhale. Eventually I was brought back to my awareness of the studio, realizing that I had been somewhere else, somewhere I knew I needed to find again. That began my discovery of meditation and how I could use it to better my quality of life.
