Who i am and what i stand for
Here's a bit about me and how I move through the world.
Maybe you'll see something that you align with.
I can't wait to meet you.
Mindfullness
Being mindful is more than awareness of what I’m doing but also why I’m doing it. Suddenly I catch myself noticing what I’m doing as I’m doing it, and intuitively know I need to make a decision. Either I live unconsciously with a fear of change or I live consciously with excitement for the unknown.
When I make each step intentional I am truly living and I can more easily co-create with the universe.
Truth
Intimately knowing my truth is probably one of the biggest obstacles I’ve come across. I’m constantly rediscovering what that means but when I live my truth I feel empowered and light, those who can best support me come into my life and contentment is a state I experience more often.
Knowing what is right for me has invited more self-love and compassion into my experiences.
Courage
I can experience anxiety, fear, sadness, and yet still keep moving towards my desires. Honouring my feelings isn’t always easy, but when I do, the courage to continue on is ignited, like a fire in my belly. My heart expands as I’m inspired by my strength and I realize more often than not I was the one holding myself back from abundance.
I will never regret the times I did what I knew was right in my heart, even if it took all of my courage.
Yoga enhances your life
I remember leaving one of my first yoga classes walking through my university town in Canada. It was the middle of winter, snow everywhere, and there I was with the biggest smile ever. I knew something had been born within me and I let it grow into: less anxiety, increased flexibility, more compassion and love, honesty, better digestion, balanced mood and processing all my stored up anger and sadness. These are just a few of the ways in which connecting to my breath and body has changed me forever.
I believe yoga has something for everyone – these are the gifts I received. Yours will be the ones you need.
